Nov 05 Precision has announced its intention to build a 53 ft Sports Cruiser. The configuration will be a full 3 cabin, 2 bathroom, saloon, galley and dining layout similar to the 58. For details contact your local Precision Cruisers agent. Nov 05 58-2 has been launched from our factory with very impressive first up sea trial tests. A top speed of 34.5 knots was attained on the first run. 58-2 is fitted with 1,000hp C18 Cats. Nov 05 58-2 is the new model update of the initial 58 launched in March. The new model has an extended saloon area of 300mm making the fitting of an internal staircase quite simple. The window profile has also been dropped both within the flybridge and the saloon ensuring a higher degree of visibility when seated on the lounges in both areas. Oct 05 58-1 was displayed at Mandurah Boat Show. As was the case at both Sanctuary Cove and Sydney Boat Shows the compliments afforded to the boat were nearly overwhelming. At sea trials the 58 performed as the exhaustive tank tests predicted. 33 knots was gained fully laden but atonly 88% engine load. At 33 knts @2330 revs the 58 was using 190 ltrs per side. At cruising speed of 25 knts @1800 revs the 58 was using 115 lts per side. Sanctuary Cove Boat Show - April 05 The all new 58’ will be on display at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show. Production is full ahead - April 05 Hulls no. 58-2 and 58-3 are underway. 58-2 is at fitout 1 stage with 58-3 hull being laid up.
